Guidance.

For people who are done with surface-level fixes and ready for the real work.

If you’re tired of feeling disconnected from your emotions, unsure of your direction, or stuck in repeating patterns despite all your effort — Guidance is where things start to shift.

Something feels off — and it’s not subtle anymore.

Feel like you’ve misplaced something? Not your keys… or your marbles… but something more inconvenient — like…

  • Your courage to try new things.

  • Your ability to sense whether a relationship is healthy or not.

  • Your energy for hobbies you supposedly enjoy.

  • Your connection to your emotions.

Or, honestly, maybe it just feels like you’ve lost you. For most of your life, you could trust yourself — you were the one who did the hard things while supporting everyone else…

And that’s what makes this so disorienting. You’re someone who usually figures things out, adapts, pushes through, and keeps moving forward. Yet somehow the same situations keep resurfacing, leaving you wondering why effort and insight alone don’t seem to be enough this time.

Patterns — especially the relational or behavioral kind — tend to live in blind spots. They run the show quietly, until eventually you wake up realizing you’ve been reenacting the same scene for months… sometimes years.

You've tried everything you know how to do. And it's still not cutting it.

You keep believing that if you just:

  • work harder

  • make better decisions

  • read one more article

  • reorganize your life

  • or finally “get it together”

…you’ll bounce back.

But instead, every attempt leaves you feeling more disconnected from your emotions, more distant from people you care about, and more unsure whether you can actually find your way back this time.

Here’s the part no one tells you:

This isn’t a motivation issue. It’s a clarity issue.

Old strategies won’t work on problems that stem from identity, boundaries, emotional patterning, or internal narratives that were built years ago — without your permission.

You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You’re just overdue for deeper work.

I get it- You need a win…

…and you need it yesterday

guidance… the deeper work

  • Guidance is not quick-fix therapy.

It’s not “talk about your week” therapy.

And it’s definitely not the nod-and-smile model you left behind years ago.

Guidance is for people who need:

clarity, direction, identity realignment, depth, emotional insight, and honest feedback — not platitudes.

Think of it as the psychological equivalent of recalibrating a compass you didn’t realize had been slightly off for years.

    This work looks at:

    • The patterns you keep repeating without meaning to

    • The emotions you suppress until they grow roots

    • The boundaries you override because you’re competent and accommodating

    • The identity shifts you’ve ignored because you’ve been too busy surviving

    • The version of yourself you want to grow into — and why you haven’t yet

This is the therapy where things actually change — because we stop treating symptoms and start examining you.

  • Guidance is ideal if you’re someone who:

    • Is high-functioning, thoughtful, and self-aware — but still stuck

    • Has outgrown your old coping strategies

    • Can’t keep carrying the emotional load for everyone else

    • Wants depth, but not in a “soft, vague, kumbaya” way

    • Is ready for straightforward, compassionate honesty

    • Values nuance, insight, and meaning-making

    • Doesn’t want a therapist who hides behind jargon or performative empathy

    You don’t need hand-holding.

You need someone to help you see yourself clearly.

  • Over time, Guidance helps you:

See the patterns that keep you stuck

Not just intellectually — but in a way that finally clicks.

    Reconnect with your instincts

So you’re not constantly second-guessing yourself.

    Quit abandoning your own needs

Especially in relationships where you’ve been over-functioning for years.

    Make decisions without spiraling

Not by brute force, but by rebuilding internal alignment.

Redistribute the emotional labor you’ve been carrying

So you can stop being the reliable one by default.

Create an identity that feels like you, now

Not the version of you that existed five career shifts, two relationships, and one burnout ago.

common questions

How do I know if Guidance is the right place to start?

Guidance tends to be a good fit for people who are generally functioning well but feel stuck around a particular question, pattern, or decision. Many people come to this work when they want space to think more clearly about something important—relationships, career direction, life transitions, or recurring patterns that no longer feel like they fit. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from thoughtful psychological support.

What kinds of situations do people usually bring to this kind of work?

People often use this space to work through things like major decisions, life transitions, relationship patterns, questions about identity or direction, or a sense that something in their life needs to shift but they’re not yet sure how. Sometimes the goal is clarity about a situation; other times it’s a deeper understanding of patterns that keep repeating.

How is this different from traditional therapy?

Traditional therapy often focuses on symptom relief—reducing anxiety, stabilizing mood, or helping someone through a period of distress. Guidance tends to be more exploratory and reflective. The focus is often on understanding patterns, developing insight, and thinking carefully about choices or directions in life.

How long do people typically work in this format?

Some people come for a focused period of time to think through a specific issue or decision, while others choose to continue longer as the work deepens. The pace and duration depend on what you are hoping to explore and how the work unfolds.

What if I’m not sure what I need yet?

That’s very common. Many people start therapy with a general sense that something feels off or stuck but aren’t sure exactly what they want to change. The early conversations are often about clarifying what matters most and identifying where to begin.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because coverage varies widely, it can be helpful to contact your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
